A super quick and really delicious tuna steak canapé idea.
✔️4 tbsp soy sauce
✔️2 tbsp sesame oil
✔️1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
✔️1 tbsp honey
✔️1 tsp grated ginger
✔️2 tuna steaks
✔️a handful of mixed sesame seeds
Cut the tuna into 1 inch pieces. In a bowl, mix together the remaining ingredients, except the sesame seeds, and then remove half the marinade and set aside. Add the tune to half the marinade and leave covered in the fridge for atleast an hour.
Remove the tuna from the fridge 20 minutes before you want to start cooking. Evenly spread the sesame seeds onto a plate and coat each piece of tuna on four adjacent sides with the seeds.
Heat a little olive oil in a frying pan on a medium-high heat. Add the tuna pieces and cook each sesame-coated side until lightly browned, about 15-20 seconds per side, leaving the centre pink.
Remove from pan and serve immediately with remaining sauce for dipping.
