Proscuitto Wrapped Roasted Asparagus

Probably the best way to eat asparagus!

  •  Asparagus tips (or trimmed asparagus)
  •  1/2 slice of thin Prosciutto or Parma Ham per asparagus tip (or bacon if that is all you have)
  •  Parmesan
  •  1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar 
  •  Freshly ground black pepper

Firstly, wrap the Prosciutto or Parma Ham around the stalks of the asparagus and once ready, sear them in a pan (preferably a griddle pan) on a high heat. Once seared and taken on a nice golden colour place them on a baking tray and put in the oven at 180C fan for 8-10 minutes.

Serve warm with a light drizzle of balsamic vinegar, shavings of parmesan and freshly ground black pepper.
